In 2019, Lebanese director Nadine Labaki came to China for the 9th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) with her work "Capernaum." In 2021, she was a member of the international jury for the Tiantan Award at the 11th BJIFF. This year Labaki came to Beijing again as an actress in the Tiantan Award-nominated film "Back to Alexandria." In an exclusive interview with CGTN, Labaki said that she's very happy to participate in the BJIFF again and hopes people like her new film.
