A mass grave with more than 300 bodies has been uncovered at a hospital in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, which was occupied by Israeli forces until earlier this month, Gaza Civil Defense workers said.

A spokesman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said on April 23 that the incident was alarming and called for an investigation.

On April 23, Sameh Hamad, a local criminal evidence administrator, said that staff took photos of these dead bodies in order to help relatives, friends and staff identify the deceased through clothing and other items.
