China Media Group (CMG) hosted a signing ceremony to promote its 8K ultra-high-definition (UHD) channel at the Shanghai International Media Port in east China's Shanghai on Saturday.
The executives from International Media Port (Shanghai) Culture Development Co., Ltd., China Central Digital Television Media Co., Ltd., and Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch signed a framework agreement to provide support for the channel in terms of content, platform and technology at the ceremony.
Launched in January 2022, the 8K UHD channel is set to use the opportunity to promote the development of the 8K media industry and bring a more quality audiovisual experience to the audience.
On the same day, CMG also launched a roadshow called "CMG IP Enters Campus," which aims to deepen the connection between CMG and young people through diverse and colorful means.
