Ukraine army commander says situation 'worsened'

The commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces said on Sunday that Kyiv's position on the frontline had deteriorated and that Russia had made a number of recent battlefield gains.

"The situation at the front has worsened," Oleksandr Syrsky said in a post on Facebook, adding Russia was "attacking along the entire front line" and had achieved "tactical success in some sectors."
