The coast guard of east China's Fujian Province conducted regular law enforcement patrols on Monday near the waters off Kinmen, the China Coast Guard (CCG) said.
In a statement, the CCG said the Fujian Coast Guard has strengthened law enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen to strengthen the management of relevant waters since April.
That is to safeguard the legitimate rights, interests, and safety of Chinese fishermen, including those in the Taiwan region, and protect the normal navigation and operation in Xiamen-Kinmen waters, said the CCG.
