Literature is a major way of expressing cross-cultural communication. It takes years of work to translate a literary masterpiece from one language to another. As China and France deepened ties over the past 60 years, the translation of the Chinese piece "A Dream of Red Mansions" by Li Tche-houa was a cultural milestone.
