A herd of 41 wild Asian elephants was spotted foraging in Xishuangbanna in southwestern China's Yunnan Province. Local officials have carried out traffic control and personnel evacuation guidelines to ensure the safety of wandering herds and residents. Since the beginning of this year, wild Asian elephants have been frequently seen near the border of Xishuangbanna. They regularly return to the nature reserve after foraging and having a short rest.
