Chinese Coast Guard and Vietnamese Coast Guard vessels conducted their first joint patrol of this year from April 27 to 29. This is the 27th joint patrol conducted by the maritime law enforcement agencies of China and Vietnam since 2006. During the joint patrol, the two countries conducted observation records and boarding inspections of vessels and carried out publicity and education for fishermen. This joint patrol is a chance for the two sides to exchange experiences in law enforcement and search and rescue operations at sea.
