The Houthi group on Monday launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from Yemen towards MV Cyclades, a Malta-flagged, Greece-owned vessel in the Red Sea, the U.S. Central Command said.
The U.S. forces successfully engaged and destroyed one Houthi-launched airborne UAV on a flight path towards USS Philippine Sea and USS Laboon in the Red Sea, the command said, adding that there were no injuries or damages reported by the U.S., coalition or merchant vessels.
