China set to launch probe to collect samples from far side of Moon

The Chang'e-6 lunar probe, scheduled to be launched between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on May 3, is set to collect samples from the far side of the Moon, making this mission the first of its kind in human history. The Long March-5 Y8 rocket will carry the Chang'e-6 lunar probe. The Chang'e-6 mission involves 11 phases and will adopt the collection method of Chang'e-5, drilling for subsurface samples and scooping for surface samples from different depths while simultaneously carrying out scientific exploration on the far side of the Moon.
