Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Thursday sent a congratulatory message to Milos Vucevic on his assuming office as Serbian prime minister.

In his message, Li noted that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' heads of state, the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership has been operating at a high level.

The two sides have worked together to forge a number of landmark cooperation outcomes in economy and trade, industrial investment and infrastructure construction, and deepened cooperation in such new areas as scientific and technological innovation, digital economy and green transition, boosting respective domestic development of the two countries and bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples, Li said.

Li said he is willing to work with Vucevic to well implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and help bring China-Serbia relations to a new level in the new era.
