Peach flowers are blooming again in Nyingchi City in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.
With the blossoming pink, the city entered its peak tourist season, with sightseers from all over China drawn to the place featuring different landscapes and a rich biodiversity.
Here, one can look up to the sky and spot the snow-capped Gyala Peri peak reaching over 7,000 meters above sea level. One can also see the deepest canyon in the world – Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon – zigzagging through the mountain valley.
During the Labor Day holiday, when Chinese people hit the road to see the beauty of the country, CGTN presents the new series "Splendid spring in China." Watch the video to understand why so many people couldn't help but venture out.
