Nantes, a city in France, was voted the most livable city in Europe by Time Magazine in 2004. Qingdao was selected as the most livable city in China by a Chinese Academy of Sciences study in 2017. In June 2005, Qingdao and Nantes started a sister city relationship. In this video, Jianjian from Qingdao and Chloe from Nantes show us the daily lives of local people from their hometowns, and explore what makes these places such livable cities. They discover that relaxing environments, rich activities, convenient transportation and great facilities are the reasons why Qingdao and Nantes were selected as fantastic livable cities. Jianjian and Chloe also invite each other to visit their respective city in the future.
