Protests against Israel's military actions in Gaza have intensified across university campuses in the U.S. and around the world in recent weeks, calling for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as well as the cessation of U.S. military aid to Israel.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 34,622, the Gaza health authorities said in a press statement on Friday.
