China's mission to collect samples from the far side of the moon has been hailed as historic and scientifically important. Guests representing over 10 countries and international scientific organizations attended the launch of the Chang'e 6 probe from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan Province on Friday. Those gathered said it's hoped the mission will make new discoveries, and lead to greater collaboration in international space exploration.
