People in Chengdu and Montpellier enjoy a relaxing lifestyle. Both cities occupy a very important position in their respective countries' economies. Chengdu is one of the top economic centers in central and western China. Montpellier is an important industrial and commercial center in southern France and one of the most important ports and logistic centers in the Mediterranean. Chengdu and Montpellier have been paired with each other for 43 years and they have achieved significant results in cooperation in many fields such as education, economy and trade, healthcare and sports.
In this video, Chinese language teacher Vigdis takes us to have a look at life in Montpellier and speak to locals to see what they like to do. Meanwhile, Vigdis invites Celine, a student studying French in Chengdu, to introduce the laid-back life of the city.
