France is ready for the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who will begin a state visit to the country as part of his three-nation European tour. The national flags of China and France have been raised on the streets of the French capital Paris ahead of Xi's arrival. The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and is also the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.
