Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping and UNESCO special envoy for the advancement of girls' and women's education, has stated that China is willing to collaborate with UNESCO to promote increased global support for ensuring that more women gain equal access to education rights. Peng made the remarks during her visit to the UNESCO headquarters in Paris and was welcomed by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. Peng also visited Orsay Museum with Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, in Paris on Monday afternoon.
