CMG President Shen Haixiong attended the event and said that cultural exchange fosters understanding and love, calling Serbia a "steadfast friend" admired for its strength.

In recent years, CMG has partnered with leading Serbian media outlets. Together, they've produced and aired documentaries, launched regular columns like "Focus" and "First Perspective," and co-organized events like the "China Image Season" screenings. These media activities aim to foster deeper understanding between the two countries, Shen noted.

Building on this momentum, the station plans to expand cooperation with the Serbian Presidential Palace's media relations department, Serbian Political News, SNRT and other institutions, he said.

This broader collaboration aims to further strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries, ultimately contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for humanity, he added.

As Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin aptly noted, a Serbian proverb says "friends are the fruits of time." For over six decades, the people of both countries have cultivated a special friendship that transcends time and distance.

People-to-people and cultural exchanges are an inexhaustible driving force for the deepening and development of bilateral relations and an important link between the two peoples.

Serbia is committed to strengthening cooperation with CMG and other Chinese media outlets. Through these partnerships, they will share stories that highlight the mutual benefits of the Serbia-China partnership and the enduring friendship between the two peoples.

This collaboration will contribute to maintaining the strong momentum of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Serbia and China, said the deputy prime minister.
