Israel reopened Kerem Shalom crossing on Wednesday morning for the entry of humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip, Israel's Coordinator of the Government Activities in the Territories, the agency in charge of the crossing, said in a social media post.
"Aid trucks are already arriving at the crossing. After a thorough security inspection, they will be transferred to the Gazan side," the agency added.
Israel had closed Kerem Shalom crossing on Sunday after a Hamas shelling attack nearby killed four soldiers.
