China's third aircraft carrier, the Fujian, successfully completed its maiden sea trials on Wednesday. The carrier returned to the Jiangnan Shipyard dock in Shanghai around 3 p.m. on Wednesday after an extensive eight-day trial at sea. During its maiden voyage, the Fujian underwent rigorous testing of its propulsion and electrical systems, among other things. The successful tests confirm that all systems are functioning as expected, marking a significant milestone in the vessel's evaluation phase.
