Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Belgrade on May 7 to pay a state visit to Serbia. It is his second visit to the country in eight years and is set to further boost the strong relationship between the two countries.
China-Serbia relations have been described as an "ironclad friendship." Cooperation in infrastructure, economy, trade, culture and more has greatly benefited both peoples. Located in the northeast of Serbia, the city of Subotica is connected by the Hungary-Serbia Railway, a flagship project of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative. In this video, Serbian vlogger Samuel Nyúl visits the central park, a local Chinese supermarket and the Hungary-Serbia Railway in his hometown of Subotica to get residents' impressions of China.
