Ukraine's parliament voted on Thursday to dismiss two government ministers, Ukrainian lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on messaging platform Telegram.

The dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, a key government figure who has overseen the reconstruction effort and championed efforts to set up a vital Black Sea shipping lane during the Russia-Ukraine conflict, comes amid plans to break up the ministry into two separate government portfolios. 

It was not immediately clear who would replace him.

The other official was Ukraine's Agriculture Minister Mykola Solsky, who tendered his resignation in late April as he faces an investigation into alleged involvement in illegal acquisition of state-owned land. Solsky has denied the allegations.
