At the invitation of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Serbia on May 7 and 8. This is the second time President Xi has visited Serbia in eight years, following his first state visit in 2016 to China's "steely friend" in Europe.
