Deploying globally leading carbon capture technology, China delivered the world's first full-process emissions capture tank for use aboard cargo ships on Friday.
Known as an Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage System (OCCS), the system uses organic amines – compounds that form a chemical bond with CO2 when they come in contact with the greenhouse gas, resulting in 99.7 percent purity.
