The Minjiang River is located in southeast China's Fujian Province. It is the largest river in Fujian and one of the most important water transport channels. As the largest independent water system in Fujian Province, the Minjiang River is also a relatively large independent water system along the southeast coast of China. Most of the tributaries in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River originate from the Wuyi Mountains. The river finally flows into the East China Sea in the northeast of Changle District, Fuzhou.
