A group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators began waving flags and chanting during commencement at the University of California, Berkeley.
UC Berkeley Chancellor Carol Christ addressed the student protests on campus in her opening comments. Some of the protesters were escorted to the back of the stadium, where they were joined by others, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
