Wild giant pandas were captured by infrared cameras wandering with their cubs in the Changqing National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

Footage taken in March shows a wild panda mother leading the way on a forest trail at an altitude of 2,000 meters, with a cub closely following her. The mother and cub were captured a few minutes later by another camera in the area.

Other footage shot in April showed another pair of pandas roaming the forest at an altitude of 1,500 meters. The panda cub looked smaller than the one from the March clips and not as experienced in maneuvering branches and rocks.

Established in 1995, the 300-square-kilometer Changqing National Nature Reserve is located near Yangxian County in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi Province.

The frequent appearance of pandas shows that the environment in the region is improving, and the number of wild giant pandas is gradually on the rise.
