On 6 February 2023, disaster struck Türkiye: an earthquake measuring almost 8 on the Richter scale shook the country to its foundations. Luckily, in the international relief effort that swiftly followed, a Chinese rescue team was among the first to arrive. Dueling with death for 220 hours, they managed to drag several survivors, including a pregnant woman who’d been trapped for 69 hours, from the wreckage. Passionate and devoted, these young people faced real-life dramas and tragedies... and triumphed.
