At least 44 people were killed and 15 others went missing after cold lava floods struck Indonesia's West Sumatra province on Saturday night, a local disaster agency official said on Monday.
"We have found several bodies, bringing the total death toll to 44. Big stones and the waste have hampered the searching, but we continue to look for the 15 people reported missing," Fajar Sukma, head of the emergency unit of the disaster management and mitigation agency of West Sumatra province told the media.
