CMG holds media event for 2024 China Brand Day

China Media Group (CMG) held a media event for 2024 China Brand Day on Tuesday, which aims to exchange new trends in "China-chic" (Guochao) consumption, tell new stories about the power of Chinese brands and help promote the country's high-quality economic development.

Luo Wen, head of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, and Yang Guorui, deputy director of the National Radio and Television Administration, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Branding is critical to companies, Shen said, adding that since the establishment of CMG more than six years ago, it has insisted on being the builders and disseminators of Chinese brands.

"CMG will make full use of its communication advantages to vigorously promote Chinese brands to become world-famous ones," he said.

CMG will also launch integrated media activities focusing on recommending Chinese brands to the world to further boost the international influence of Chinese brands during the Olympic Games in Paris this summer, Shen added.
