Chinese President Xi Jinping pays a state visit to France as both countries mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations. In an interview for The Hub in Paris, Deanna Gao, president and founder of the Franco-Chinese Cultural Association, tells Wang Guan about her lifetime passion for cultural exchanges through painting and calligraphy. "Fine arts know no boundaries," she says as she notes that Chinese culture has always aroused a good deal of passion in France and that cultural exchanges between the two countries are diverse and plentiful.
