Chinese President Xi Jinping pays a state visit to France as both countries mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.  Both countries value culture and the world of thoughts and ideas, sharing commonalities conducive to mutual understanding. In an interview for The Hub in Paris, Zhang Zhiqiang, director of the Institute of Philosophy at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, tells Wang Guan that Xi's visit to France, one of the European Union's leading countries, will help further enhance cultural interaction.
