Swiss court jails Gambian ex-minister for 20 years for crimes against humanity

Switzerland's Federal Criminal Court on Wednesday sentenced former Gambian interior minister Ousman Sonko to 20 years in prison for crimes against humanity.

Sonko was given a "custodial sentence of 20 years,"  the clerk of the court said, reading the verdict following a trial that began in January.
