Sanming is a city located in southeast China's Fujian Province. It not only has beautiful scenery but also mouthwatering food.
Shaxian snacks have a long history and are known to be living artifacts of the Han people's food culture. Peanut butter noodles, wontons filled with juicy meat, fried rice noodles, meat soup... Shaxian or Sha County delicacies popular all over China are from Sanming, there is a wide variety of them and are full of flavor. The production of Shaxian snacks was listed in Fujian as intangible cultural heritage in 2007, and has been declared a national intangible cultural heritage.
