The most complete dragonfly fossil to date from around 165 million years ago has been unearthed in north China. The fossil was discovered in Ningcheng County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the most complete preservation of a member of the Euthemistidae family from the Middle Jurassic period discovered yet.
