Agricultural tourism is on the rise across China. To mark International Tea Day which falls on May 21, a group of Bulgarian visitors took part in a tea-picking and tasting event at a tea garden near Dongqian Lake in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province.
Simeon Petrov Vasilev, a 54-year-old participant with a long love of tea, said he has been enjoying different kinds of tea for 40 years. "It's amazing that the green tea in China needs only a few seconds of brewing to bring out such aromatic flavors," he said, as compared to the tea from Bulgaria.
