01:22

A crowd of supporters cheered outside the High Court in London on May 20 after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was granted leave to mount a fresh appeal against his extradition to the U.S.

According to his lawyer, Edward Fitzgerald, Assange couldn't be present in person for the hearing due to health reasons. Stella Assange, Julian's wife, gave a statement outside the Royal Courts of Justice.
