The Council of the European Union (EU) on Tuesday approved a law aiming to harmonize rules on artificial intelligence, the so-called artificial intelligence act, the council announced in a statement.
After being signed by the presidents of the European Parliament and of the European Council, the legislative act will be published in the EU's Official Journal in the coming days and enter into force 20 days after this publication, according to the statement.
