Inspectors from the Israeli Ministry of Communications on Tuesday raided the compound of the Associated Press in the Israeli city of Sderot and seized photographic equipment that allegedly provides service to Qatar's Al Jazeera channel, which is banned in the country, Israeli media reported.

The AP later responded in a statement denouncing the move, claiming that "the Qatari satellite channel is among thousands of clients that receive live video feeds from the AP and other news organizations."
