Luka Doncic (R) of the Dallas Mavericks penetrates to beat Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves' defense in Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 22, 2024. /CFP
On Wednesday, the NBA released the rosters for the three All-NBA Teams, and several players are set to make a fortune after being selected to the squads.
The three lineups went as follows:
Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics are named in the First Team.
In the Second Team are Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James of the Lakers, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings and Devin Booker of the Suns were selected for the Third Team.

The All-NBA nods will enable Doncic and SGA to sign supermax contract extensions in 2025. Doncic can get a five-year, $346 million deal from the Mavericks, and SGA can negotiate a four-year, $294 million extension with the Thunder. If such a deal is made, he will make over $81 million for the 2030-31 season.
As for Edwards and Haliburton, whose first extensions will not come into effect until the 2024-25 campaign, their All-NBA Teams selections will boost their future salaries. Both agreed to five-year, $205 million deals last summer, but now their earnings could grow to $245 million.

Compared with the younger generation, 39-year-old James doesn't need an All-NBA nod to make more money, though he has the $51.4 million player option for the 2024-25 campaign. He was selected into the All-NBA Teams in 20 of his 21 seasons, the most in league history.
Only four of the above-mentioned 15 players are still competing in the ongoing playoffs: Doncic, Tatum, Edwards and Haliburton.
