A delegation of media professionals from Pacific Island countries arrived in Pingtan, east China's Fujian Province, on Tuesday after touring Fuzhou and Ningde. Members of the "China Up Close" media delegation visited the International Austronesian Archaeological Research Base and learned about China's interconnected history with the Pacific Islands.
