The burial ceremony of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi began on May 23 at the holy shrine of Imam Reza in his hometown of Mashhad in northeastern Iran. Thousands of people stood in the streets of Mashhad to see Raisi's coffin draped in Iran's flag.
