The peaceful liberation of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on May 23, 1951, has enabled the all-round transformation of "the roof of the world." Xizang Buddhism University, inaugurated in 2011, is the only high-level comprehensive Tibetan Buddhist institute in the region.

Losang Phuntsog, a student monk from Shannan City, is studying at the esoteric Tibetan Buddhism department in the university. What is the scripture-debating class like for Tibetan monks? How is the food in the canteen? Follow CGTN's Mi Sutong and Losang Phuntsog into the campus, dormitory and canteen of the university to learn about the daily life of the student monks.
