The final farewell ceremony for Iran's late President Ebrahim Raisi was held in his hometown of Mashhad on May 23, with tens of thousands of people taking to the streets to pay their respects. Raisi and seven others were confirmed dead on Monday after the helicopter they were traveling in crashed in Iran's mountainous northwestern province of East Azerbaijan.
