At 8:40 a.m. on May 25, as the X8157 China-Europe freight train departed from Xi'an International Port Station, the cumulative number of China-Europe freight trains exceeded 90,000. They have delivered more than 8.7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of goods with a value of more than $380 billion. The safe and smooth operation of the China-Europe freight trains effectively guarantees the stability of the international industrial and supply chains, injecting new momentum into high-quality joint construction under the Belt and Road Initiative, and promoting China-Europe economic and trade exchanges.
