Palestinians from the Jabalia refugee camp are fleeing northern Gaza after an Israeli operation in the area. Laden with bundles of clothes, water buckets and other daily necessities, families cram onto horse-drawn carts, seeking refuge wherever they can. Despite the Israeli designation of safe zones, many Palestinians have found that there is no safe place to go.

On May 25, at least 10 people were killed, including children, in an Israeli strike on a school serving as a shelter for the displaced in northern Gaza.
