It has been 10 years since China's Grand Canal, or the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. In April 2023, in east China's Fujian Province, a team led by Zheng Chunhui, a representative inheritor of Putian wood carving, a national intangible cultural heritage, began a five-year journey, creating a giant wood carving of the canal.
