Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said it launched a missile attack on Tel Aviv on Sunday as sirens sounded in the city and other parts of central Israel for the first time in months.
At least eight rockets were fired in the direction of central Israel from Rafah in the Gaza Strip, according to an Israel Defense Forces spokesperson.
Three people were slightly injured in the attack, according to Israel's emergency services.
