Table tennis: China sweep all five titles at WTT Contender Taiyuan

Team China swept all five titles at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender event in Taiyuan, north China's Shanxi Province, on Sunday.

China's Liang Jingkun defeated France's Alexis Lebrun, the only non-Chinese paddler who made it to the final, 12-14, 11-2, 11-8, 11-8 and 11-5 to win the men's singles title.

In the women's singles final, World No. 6 Chen Xintong of China claimed the title after defeating compatriot Wang Yidi 12-10, 11-8, 9-11, 6-11, 14-12, 10-12, and 9-11 in seven games.

In the all-Chinese men's doubles final, Ma Long and Lin Gaoyuan took the crown with an 11-9, 4-11, 11-9, and 17-15 victory over Wang Chuqin and Liang Jingkun.

Kuai Man and Chen Yi claimed the women's doubles title with an 11-4, 9-11, 11-4, and 11-7 win over another Chinese pair, Wang Yidi and Chen Xingtong.

Lin Shidong paired with Kuai Man to take the mixed doubles title by beating Lin Gaoyuan and Wang Yidi 11-7, 11-8, 9-11, and 11-7 in the final.
